Sometimes a pattern is difficult to resist, but the shirt you found in the thrift store is the wrong size. It might have defects like missing closures, holes or stains. Pappy’s Snappies presents Snap Mods to assist with some Snap Mod #inspo.

At Pappy’s Snappies, we vow never to destroy the rare, vintage finds in great condition. But thrifting can be hit or miss. Repair, re-vamp around the defects or breathe new modern life into a “meh” Snappie. With so many manufacturers making Pearl Snap shirts, there are a lot of great candidates for Snap Mods.

A couple of points that may need clarification:

1. Are we professional seamstresses or tailors? No. We just love pearl snap shirts. We do contract with professionals to make our Snap Mods come to life. 

2. Do we aim to produce Snap Mods en masse for sale? Also…no. We may post some of them for sale in a special collection on the website, but we mostly just want to see Snappies have an extended life. We’d say they’re “having a moment” but they’ve never gone out of style. That’s impossible. See above re: inspo.
